NYNAS T 9 EVO is a low viscosity hydrotreated naphthenic base oil with excellent solvent power, and very good low temperature properties. NYNAS T 9 EVO exhibit the same performance and specification as our legacy grade NYNAS T 9 but with significantly reduced Product Carbon Footprint, PCF.
Both the conventional and the EVO grade exhibit the same performance and meet the same specifications.
The EVO grade simply comes with a significantly reduced carbon footprint.
NYNAS T 9 EVO can be used in conventional water-based fluids for copper rolling, hot aluminum rolling, cold steel rolling, drawing, milling, in semi-synthetic fluids for die casting, drawing, milling, drilling, threading, turning and grinding, and in neat oils for milling, broaching, threading, tapping, gear cutting, and lapping. NYNAS T 9 EVO can be used as well in hydraulic fluids, low temperature hydraulic fluids, shock absorbing oils and refrigeration oils, and in the production of low temperature lubricating greases.
NYNAS T 9 EVO excellent solvent power, despite low levels of polyaromatic compounds, allows it to dissolve high additive loads as well as to keep residues and sludge dissolved while in operation. It is also the reason to the outstanding stability of the emulsions formulated with the product. NYNAS T 9 EVO is also characterized by having very good metal affinity and cooling properties, and on top of that it possesses excellent low temperature properties.
NYNAS T 9 EVO is a hydrotreated naphthenic base oil, classified as an API Group V base oil.
