NYBASE 600 is a high viscosity specialty base oil for Group I replacement, with high Viscosity Index (VI), high Flash Point (FP) and excellent low temperature properties. Recommended for the formulation of industrial, automotive and metal working fluids.
NYBASE 600 is suitable for the blending of high quality industrial lubricants, as a component in ISO VG 68 and 100 hydraulic fluids, or in slideway oils ISO VG 68, for piston type air compressors ISO VG 100 (SAE 30) and ISO VG 150 (SAE 40), as a core component in industrial gear oil formulations, and many other high viscosity applications, and in blends with Bright Stock or PIBs.
NYBASE 600 finds use in metal forming fluid formulations such as in neat oils for aluminium wire drawing, stamping neat oils for difficult operations, and cold steel extrusion oils. NYBASE 600 blended with Bright Stock can be used as pressure medium in hydroforming operations. Metal rolling applications include cold and hot rolling of steel coil, and hot rolling of semi-finished steel products. NYBASE 600 has metal treating fluid applications as a hot tempering fluid at 150-240 °C.
NYBASE 600 is a specialty base oil, suitable for the replacement of Group I base oils in the above-mentioned industrial and metalworking oil applications.
