The solvent power of Nynas naphthenic oils facilitates the application of anticaking coating onto the solid fertiliser. Naphthenic oils typically minimise water uptake, which otherwise can cause agglomeration of the fertiliser.
Dust formation can potentially lead to losses, and adversely affect the fertiliser production process. High viscosity naphthenic oils coat the surface of the fertiliser granule, to efficiently prevent dust formation during production and subsequent handling. The NYTEX® and NYFLEX® range is available in a wide selection of viscosities, is odourless, and provides superior solvent power, combined with low colour.
