Instant reduction in carbon footprint

By simply replacing a product used today with an alternative from the Nynas EVO-line, customers can instantly reduce the carbon footprint for their product offerings. The EVO line provides drop-in replacements with a lower carbon footprint whilst maintaining the same high performance as products in Nynas existing portfolio, eliminating the need for reformulation.

For more than two decades, Nynas has re-engineered both products and processes to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. For many of the EVO line specialty products, a 25% lower carbon footprint has been achieved with an evolution of our production process. This has been achieved while maintaining the quality and product characteristics that Nynas customers’ trust. The carbon reduction of 25% is verified by external parties.

Presented for the first time at FEICA 2024

The EVO line covers products in all Nynas specialty segments including power transformers, lubricants, tires and adhesives.

The new product line was presented for the first time at the FEICA 2024 European Adhesive & Sealant Conference and EXPO in the Netherlands, September 11-13.

At FEICA, Nynas technical staff explained how the company's trusted product performance can be achieved with a significantly decreased carbon footprint—all without any reformulations or reapprovals needed. EVO is a drop-in replacement without compromise.

Sustainability a key driver

Nynas products play a vital role in the transition to a sustainable society. Through their lifecycle the products have a positive impact, in many of their applications, helping save energy and reduce greenhouse gas emissions compared to the next best available product. Nynas is currently expanding the portfolio of circular products and exploring new circular feedstocks.

The EVO line is another important step forward to continuously help customers to reduce the carbon footprint in their value chain.
