NYFLEX 820 EVO is a hydrotreated highly refined, high viscosity naphthenic oil with a light colour. NYFLEX 820 EVO exhibit the same performance and specification as our legacy grade NYFLEX 820 but with significantly reduced Product Carbon Footprint, PCF.
PCF reduction in NYFLEX 820 EVO is achieved through a step change in process efficiency enabling a quantifiable reduction of carbon dioxide emissions.
Both the conventional and the EVO grade exhibit the same performance and meet the same specifications.
The EVO grade simply comes with a significantly reduced carbon footprint.
NYFLEX 820 is a hydrotreated highly refined, high viscosity naphthenic oil with a light colour and excellent compatibility with non polar rubber and TPE. The naphthenic character in combination with high purity and low volatility makes it suitable for SBC and olefin based hotmelt adhesives as well as plasticiser for TPE and high end rubber articles. Further, the naphthenic character constitutes a good basis for stable emulsions which is beneficial in water based applications like leather treatment, mould release and defoaming agents.
NYFLEX 820 is suitable for many applications such as adhesives, TPE, leather treatment, road paints, battery separators and demoulding agents.
