NYBASE ISO VG 68 is an upper mid-range viscosity speciality base oil for Group I replacement, with high Viscosity Index (VI), high Flash Point (FP) and excellent low temperature properties. Recommended for the formulation of industrial, automotive and metal working fluids.
NYBASE ISO VG 68 is an upper mid-range viscosity speciality base oil for Group I replacement in industrial lubricants and neat metal working fluids. NYBASE ISO VG 68 is ideally suitable for the blending of high quality industrial lubricants like ISO VG 68 hydraulic oils and slideway oils, as the viscosity and VI are well matching the requirements.
NYBASE ISO VG 68 can be used as a base oil in neat oils for metal forming fluid applications like heavy wire drawing of steel and aluminium, heavy duty stamping, and for cold steel extrusion. In metal rolling, as temporary protection fluids for storage of hot rolled steel products. NYBASE ISO VG 68 has metal treating fluid applications at warm temperature (100 °C) quenching.
NYBASE ISO VG 68 is a specialty base oil, with very good low temperature properties. This is demonstrated by the low pour point and viscosity at low temperature. NYBASE ISO VG 68 also has high solvency for additives, and for any polar compounds formed during the usage of any lubricant based on NYBASE ISO VG 68.
NYBASE ISO VG 68 is a specialty base oil, suitable for the replacement of upper mid-range blends of Solvent Neutral Group I base oils.
