Nynas advances to platinum in EcoVadis sustainability rating

Nynas has been awarded the EcoVadis Platinum medal, placing the company among the top 1% of organisations assessed worldwide – the highest recognition for sustainability performance.

Achieving platinum status reflects Nynas’ continuous commitment to responsible business practices and transparent progress in sustainability. EcoVadis, a leading provider of business sustainability ratings, evaluates companies across four key areas:

  • Environment
  • Ethics
  • Labour and Human Rights
  • Sustainable Procurement

“Moving to platinum is exactly the path we want to take. Earning this rating from EcoVadis is a significant milestone for Nynas. It reflects the dedication of teams across our organisation to integrate sustainability into our strategy, operations, and value chain. We remain committed to improving our environmental and social impact while upholding the highest ethical standards,” says Eric Gosse, President & CEO, Nynas AB.

Over the past few years, Nynas has continued to expand its sustainable product offering. The latest example is Nynas EVO – an evolution of the company’s most popular naphthenic products.

“Expanding our portfolio with products like Nynas EVO demonstrates that sustainability and performance can go hand in hand. This platinum rating reinforces our commitment to developing solutions that not only meet the highest quality standards but also reduce environmental impact across both the customer and our value chain,” says Marika Rangstedt, Sustainability Manager.

This recognition from EcoVadis builds upon Nynas’ long-term sustainability journey and strengthens its ambition to deliver value responsibly – to stakeholders, customers, and society.
