A small hero for tough jobs

NYNAS® NS 3 is a highly refined naphthenic base oil designed for applications where reliable performance in demanding low-temperature conditions is essential.

Its combination of very low pour point and low viscosity at low temperatures makes NYNAS NS 3 particularly well suited for demanding hydraulic applications, including aviation hydraulic fluids. It also brings good solvency despite its low aromatic content.

Beyond hydraulics, NYNAS NS 3 can be used in metalworking formulations, including aluminium cold rolling fluids. 

Small in terms of viscosity, NS 3 is built to handle some particularly tough jobs. A combination of NS 3 and NYNAS S 90 is recommended when designing lubricant and grease formulations for severe low-temperature conditions.
